Renesse

Renesse is the tourist village for family holidays on Schouwen-Duiveland. The coastal town has beaches, terraces, shops and entertainment options. That has made the village a popular holiday destination for years.

Beach

The sandy beach of Renesse is approximately 17 km long and is located next to the forests of Westerschouwen. The beaches of Renesse have been awarded several times because they are so clean. They are divided into family beaches, water sports beaches and natural beaches.

The village has a special bond with seals. Off the coast of Renesse you regularly see them lying on the sandbanks.

Events

The Fjoertoer in and around Renesse is one of the annual events. The evening walk on the beach and through the woods along various light objects has a very special atmosphere.

Especially in the summer season, many events are organized in Renesse.

Schouwen-Duiveland

The west coast of Schouwen-Duiveland is one of the most popular destinations in Zeeland in the summer. The clean beaches and the diversity of the island make it interesting for everyone. Cycling, walking, on the water, in nature, it is all possible on Schouwen-Duiveland. The villages and towns on the island are also diverse. From the monumental city of Zierikzee to the fishing village of Bruinisse.

The Kop van Schouwen

The Kop van Schouwen has dune areas where hikers, cyclists, mountain bikers and other sports enthusiasts can indulge themselves. Here you will find sand drifts, valleys and the largest forest in Zeeland: Boswachterij Westerschouwen. You can walk for hours on the beaches and they are wonderful to get a breath of fresh air.
